﴿وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مِّنۡ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٞ لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٞ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ كِتَٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ كَأَنَّهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 101]
﴿ولما جاءهم رسول من عند الله مصدق لما معهم نبذ فريق من﴾ [البَقَرَة: 101]
| Abdel Haleem When God sent them a messenger confirming the Scriptures they already had, some of those who had received the Scripture before threw the Book of God over their shoulders as if they had no knowledge |
| Abdul Hye And whenever a Messenger from Allah came to them confirming what was with them, a group of those who were given the Scripture threw away the book of Allah behind their backs as if they did not know |
