﴿وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ ءَامِنُواْ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلنَّاسُ قَالُوٓاْ أَنُؤۡمِنُ كَمَآ ءَامَنَ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُۗ أَلَآ إِنَّهُمۡ هُمُ ٱلسُّفَهَآءُ وَلَٰكِن لَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 13]
﴿وإذا قيل لهم آمنوا كما آمن الناس قالوا أنؤمن كما آمن السفهاء﴾ [البَقَرَة: 13]
| Abdel Haleem When it is said to them, ‘Believe, as the others believe,’ they say, ‘Should we believe as the fools do?’ but they are the fools, though they do not know it |
| Abdul Hye And when it is said to them: “Believe as the other people believe,” they say: “Shall we believe as the fools believe?” Surely, they themselves are the fools, but they don’t know |
