﴿أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 128]
﴿أفلم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم إن﴾ [طه: 128]
| Abdel Haleem Do they not draw a lesson from the many generations We destroyed before them, through whose dwelling places they now walk? There truly are signs in this for anyone with understanding |
| Abdul Hye It it not a guidance for them (to know) how many generations We have destroyed before them and in whose residences they walk? Surely, in these (ruins) there are signs for people of understanding |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Is it not a warning to such men (to call to mind) how many generations before them We destroyed, in whose haunts they (now) move? Verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding |
