﴿مَآ أَنزَلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَ لِتَشۡقَىٰٓ ﴾

﴿ما أنـزلنا عليك القرآن لتشقى﴾ [طه: 2]
| Abdel Haleem It was not to distress you [Prophet] that We sent down the Quran to you |
| Abdul Hye We have not sent down the Qur’an to you (O Muhammad) to cause you distress |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed |
| Ahmed Ali We have not sent down the Qur'an to you that you should be burdened |
