﴿فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 37]
﴿فكذبوه فأخذتهم الرجفة فأصبحوا في دارهم جاثمين﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 37]
| Abdel Haleem They rejected him and so the earthquake overtook them. When morning came, they were lying dead in their homes |
| Abdul Hye But they denied him (Shuaib), so the earthquake seized them, and they became dead in their residences |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali But they rejected him: Then the mighty Blast seized them, and they lay prostrate in their homes by the morning |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Then they belied him; wherefore an earthquake laid hold of them, and they lay in their dwellings, crouching |
