﴿وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰٓ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ تَفِيضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمۡعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُواْ مِنَ ٱلۡحَقِّۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱكۡتُبۡنَا مَعَ ٱلشَّٰهِدِينَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 83]
﴿وإذا سمعوا ما أنـزل إلى الرسول ترى أعينهم تفيض من الدمع مما﴾ [المَائدة: 83]
| Abdel Haleem and when they listen to what has been sent down to the Messenger, you will see their eyes overflowing with tears because they recognize the Truth [in it]. They say, ‘Our Lord, we believe, so count us amongst the witnesses |
| Abdul Hye When they (monks and priests) hear what has been sent down to the Messenger (Muhammad), you see their eyes overflow with tears because they have recognized the truth. They say: “Our Lord! We believe; so write us down with the witnesses |
