﴿وَقَالُواْ مَا فِي بُطُونِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡأَنۡعَٰمِ خَالِصَةٞ لِّذُكُورِنَا وَمُحَرَّمٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِنَاۖ وَإِن يَكُن مَّيۡتَةٗ فَهُمۡ فِيهِ شُرَكَآءُۚ سَيَجۡزِيهِمۡ وَصۡفَهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٞ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 139]
﴿وقالوا ما في بطون هذه الأنعام خالصة لذكورنا ومحرم على أزواجنا وإن﴾ [الأنعَام: 139]
| Abdel Haleem They also say, ‘The contents of these animals’ wombs will be reserved solely for our men and forbidden to our women, though if the offspring is stillborn they may have a share of it.’ He will punish them for what they attribute to Him: He is all wise, all aware |
| Abdul Hye They say: “What is in bellies of these cattle (milk or fetus) is exclusively for our males, and forbidden to our females, but if it is born dead, then they all have shares in it.” He will punish them for their attribution (superstitions). Surely, He is All-Wise, All-knower of everything |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They say: "What is in the wombs of such and such cattle is specially reserved (for food) for our men, and forbidden to our women; but if it is still-born, then all have share therein. For their (false) attribution (of superstitions to Allah), He will soon punish them: for He is full of wisdom and knowledge |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And they say: whatsoever is in the bellies of such cattle is for our males alone and is forbidden unto our wives, and if it be born dead, then they all are partakers thereof. Anon He shall requite them for their attribution verily He is Wise, Knowing |
