﴿وَلَوۡ نَزَّلۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ كِتَٰبٗا فِي قِرۡطَاسٖ فَلَمَسُوهُ بِأَيۡدِيهِمۡ لَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 7]
﴿ولو نـزلنا عليك كتابا في قرطاس فلمسوه بأيديهم لقال الذين كفروا إن﴾ [الأنعَام: 7]
Abdel Haleem Even if We had sent down to you [Prophet] a book inscribed on parchment, and they had touched it with their own hands, the disbelievers would still say, ‘This is nothing but blatant sorcery.’ |
Abdul Hye And if We had sent down to you (O Muhammad) a book written on paper and they could have touched it with their hands, those who disbelieve still would have said: “This is not but obvious magic!” |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If We had sent unto thee a written (message) on parchment, so that they could touch it with their hands, the Unbelievers would have been sure to say: "This is nothing but obvious magic |
