﴿وَإِنۡ أَحَدٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ٱسۡتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرۡهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسۡمَعَ كَلَٰمَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبۡلِغۡهُ مَأۡمَنَهُۥۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 6]
﴿وإن أحد من المشركين استجارك فأجره حتى يسمع كلام الله ثم أبلغه﴾ [التوبَة: 6]
| Abdel Haleem If any one of the idolaters should seek your protection [Prophet], grant it to him so that he may hear the word of God, then take him to a place safe for him, for they are people with no knowledge [of it] |
| Abdul Hye If anyone of the polytheists seeks your protection, grant protection so that he may hear the Word of Allah (the Qur’an), and then escort to where he can be secure, that is because they are people who don’t know (the truth) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali If one amongst the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him, so that he may hear the word of Allah; and then escort him to where he can be secure. That is because they are men without knowledge |
