﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ لِقَآءَنَا وَرَضُواْ بِٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱطۡمَأَنُّواْ بِهَا وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَنۡ ءَايَٰتِنَا غَٰفِلُونَ ﴾
[يُونس: 7]
﴿إن الذين لا يرجون لقاءنا ورضوا بالحياة الدنيا واطمأنوا بها والذين هم﴾ [يُونس: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who hope not for a meeting with Us and are fully pleased with the life of the present world and they became satisfied with it; and those: they are heedless to Our Ayaat |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who hope not for their meeting with Us, but were well-pleased with this present life and were secured in it, those, they are ones who are heedless of Our signs |
| Dr Munir Munshey There are those who do not entertain any thoughts of meeting Us (after death) and are contented and well pleased with the life of this world. They are the ones who totally ignore Our proofs |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, those who hope not for our meeting, and are content with the life of this world, and are comforted thereby, and those who are neglectful of our signs |
| Farook Malik As for those who do not hope to meet Us on the Day of Judgement, being well pleased and satisfied with this worldly life and those who give no heed to Our revelations |
| George Sale Verily they who hope not to meet Us at the last day, and delight in this present life, and rest securely in the same, and who are negligent of our signs |
| Maududi Surely those who do not expect to meet Us, who are gratified with the life of the world and content with it, and are heedless of Our signs |
