﴿ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴾
[التَّكاثُر: 8]
﴿ثم لتسألن يومئذ عن النعيم﴾ [التَّكاثُر: 8]
| Dr Kamal Omar Again! You shall be put to question that Day about the delights (and favour you enjoyed in your worldly life-span) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Again, you will, certainly, be asked on that day about the bliss |
| Dr Munir Munshey And then, you would certainly be called to account for the blessings and the bounties |
| Edward Henry Palmer Then ye shall surely be asked about pleasure |
| Farook Malik you shall believe it, but that belief is going to do you no good because - on that Day, you shall be questioned about the blessings (faculties and resources that you were given in the worldly life - as to how you used them) |
| George Sale Then shall ye be examined, on that day, concerning the pleasures with which ye have amused yourselves in this life |
| Maududi Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed |
