﴿وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗاۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٞۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجۡلٍ حَنِيذٖ ﴾
[هُود: 69]
﴿ولقد جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى قالوا سلاما قال سلام فما لبث أن﴾ [هُود: 69]
| Dr Kamal Omar And surely, indeed, Our messengers came to Ibrahim with the good news. They said: Salam [Peace and tranquility (on you people)]. He answered: Salam. So he did not wait much as he came with (a piece of) a roasted calf |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And, certainly, Our messengers drew near Abraham with good tidings. They said: Peace. He said: Peace. And he presently brought about a roasted calf |
