﴿فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيهِمۡ قَالُواْ يَٰٓأَبَانَا مُنِعَ مِنَّا ٱلۡكَيۡلُ فَأَرۡسِلۡ مَعَنَآ أَخَانَا نَكۡتَلۡ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 63]
﴿فلما رجعوا إلى أبيهم قالوا ياأبانا منع منا الكيل فأرسل معنا أخانا﴾ [يُوسُف: 63]
| Dr Kamal Omar So when they returned to their father, they said: “O our father! (Bringing in) measure (of corn) has been banned to us (unless our half-brother from you accompanies us), so send with us our brother, (only then) we get our measure, and indeed we, for him, will surely be protectors.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So when they returned to their father, they said: O our father! The full measure was refused to us so send our brother with us that we will obtain our measure. And, truly, we will be ones who guard him |
