﴿ثُمَّ بَعَثۡنَٰهُمۡ لِنَعۡلَمَ أَيُّ ٱلۡحِزۡبَيۡنِ أَحۡصَىٰ لِمَا لَبِثُوٓاْ أَمَدٗا ﴾
[الكَهف: 12]
﴿ثم بعثناهم لنعلم أي الحزبين أحصى لما لبثوا أمدا﴾ [الكَهف: 12]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then We raised them up that We may know which of the groups is better in calculation about the period they had tarried |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Again, We raised them up so that We might know which of the two confederates was better in calculating the space of time they lingered in expectation |
| Dr Munir Munshey Then, (many years later) We awakened them so We may know which of their groups correctly estimates the length of their stay in the cave |
| Edward Henry Palmer Then we raised them up again, that we might know which of the two crews could best calculate the time of their tarrying |
