﴿يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَوۡفُواْ بِعَهۡدِيٓ أُوفِ بِعَهۡدِكُمۡ وَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 40]
﴿يابني إسرائيل اذكروا نعمتي التي أنعمت عليكم وأوفوا بعهدي أوف بعهدكم وإياي﴾ [البَقَرَة: 40]
| Dr Kamal Omar O progeny of Israiel! Remember My Grace which I bestowed upon you and fulfil (your obligations to) My covenant, so that I fulfil (My obligations to) your covenant and only to Me — to Me be mindful |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O Children of Israel! Remember My divine blessing with which I was gracious to you and live up to the compact with Me. I will live up to the compact with you. And have reverence for Me alone |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh children of Israel! Bear in mind (all) My favors that I bestowed upon you. Live up to your pledge with Me, and I will fulfill My promise with you. Fear Me (and none else) |
| Edward Henry Palmer O ye children of Israel! remember my favours which I have favoured you with; fulfil my covenant and I will fulfil your covenant; me therefore dread |

| Maududi O children of Israel! Just recall to mind My favour wherewith I blessed you fulfil your covenant with Me and I shall fulfil My covenant with you, and fear Me alone |
