﴿وَنَصَرۡنَٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ قَوۡمَ سَوۡءٖ فَأَغۡرَقۡنَٰهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 77]
﴿ونصرناه من القوم الذين كذبوا بآياتنا إنهم كانوا قوم سوء فأغرقناهم أجمعين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 77]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We helped him against the nation who denied Ayaatina. Verily, they were a nation given to evil. So We drowned them all (in the great deluge) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We helped him against the folk who denied Our signs. Truly, they had been a reprehensible folk. So We drowned them one and all |
| Dr Munir Munshey We came to his aid against a nation that had denied Our signs. They were an evil people, indeed. So We drowned them all _ every single one of them |
| Edward Henry Palmer and we helped him against the people who said our signs were lies; verily, they were a bad people, so we drowned them all together |
| Farook Malik We helped him against those people who had denied Our revelations; surely they were an evil people, so We drowned them all in the Great Flood |
| George Sale And We protected him from the people who accused our signs of falsehood; for they were a wicked people, wherefore We drowned them all |
| Maududi and We helped him against a people who rejected Our signs as false. They were indeed an evil people and so We drowned them all |
