﴿وَنُوحًا إِذۡ نَادَىٰ مِن قَبۡلُ فَٱسۡتَجَبۡنَا لَهُۥ فَنَجَّيۡنَٰهُ وَأَهۡلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَرۡبِ ٱلۡعَظِيمِ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 76]
﴿ونوحا إذ نادى من قبل فاستجبنا له فنجيناه وأهله من الكرب العظيم﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 76]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (remember) Nuh, when he cried (to Us) aforetime. So We gave him response and rescued him and his followers from a tremendous distress |
| Edward Henry Palmer And Noah, when he cried aforetime, and we answered him and saved him and his people from the mighty trouble |
| Farook Malik Before them Noah prayed to Us, We accepted his prayer and delivered him and his family from the great calamity |
| George Sale And remember Noah, when he called for destruction on his people, before the prophets abovementioned; and We heard him, and delivered him and his family from a great strait |
| Maududi We bestowed the same favour upon Noah. Recall, when he cried to Us before; We accepted his prayer and delivered him and his household from the great distress |
