﴿وَدَاوُۥدَ وَسُلَيۡمَٰنَ إِذۡ يَحۡكُمَانِ فِي ٱلۡحَرۡثِ إِذۡ نَفَشَتۡ فِيهِ غَنَمُ ٱلۡقَوۡمِ وَكُنَّا لِحُكۡمِهِمۡ شَٰهِدِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 78]
﴿وداود وسليمان إذ يحكمان في الحرث إذ نفشت فيه غنم القوم وكنا﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 78]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (remember) Daud and Sulaiman when the two pronounce judgement in the case of the field when pastured therein the sheep of a nation and We were Witnesses to their judgment |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And mention David and Solomon, when they give judgment about cultivation when a herd of the sheep of his folk strayed. And to their critical judgment We had been ones who bear witness |
| Dr Munir Munshey And don´t forget Daood and Sulaiman as they sat in judgment, hearing the case of the field that had been overrun at night by goats of other folks. We were overseeing their judgment |
| Edward Henry Palmer And David and Solomon, when they gave judgment concerning the field, when some people's sheep had strayed therein at night; and we testified to their judgment |

| Maududi We bestowed the same favour upon David and Solomon. Recall, when they gave judgement regarding a tillage into which the sheep of some people had strayed at night, and We were witnesses to their judgement |
