﴿ثُمَّ صَدَقۡنَٰهُمُ ٱلۡوَعۡدَ فَأَنجَيۡنَٰهُمۡ وَمَن نَّشَآءُ وَأَهۡلَكۡنَا ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 9]
﴿ثم صدقناهم الوعد فأنجيناهم ومن نشاء وأهلكنا المسرفين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 9]
| Dr Kamal Omar Then We fulfilled to them the promise, so We saved them and those whom We think proper and We destroyed Al-Musrefun |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Again, We were sincere in the promise. So We rescued them and whom We will. We caused the ones who are excessive to perish |
| Dr Munir Munshey Then, We fulfilled Our pledge and rescued them, and those whom We wished. We destroyed those who had exceeded their limits |
| Edward Henry Palmer Yet we made our promise to them good, and we saved them and whom we pleased; but we destroyed those who committed excesses |
| Farook Malik Then We fulfilled Our promise with them: We saved them and those whom We pleased, and destroyed the transgressors |
| George Sale But We made good our promise unto them: Wherefore We delivered them, and those whom We pleased; but We destroyed the exorbitant transgressors |
| Maududi Then We fulfilled the promise We had made to them: We rescued them and those whom We wished, and We destroyed those who exceeded all bounds |
