﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ عَنِ ٱللَّغۡوِ مُعۡرِضُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 3]
﴿والذين هم عن اللغو معرضون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar and those: they are those who keep (themselves) away from Al-Laghw |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar and they, those who from idle talk, are ones who turn aside |
| Dr Munir Munshey And shun vulgarity |
| Edward Henry Palmer and who from vain talk turn aside |
| Farook Malik who avoid vain talk |
| George Sale and who eschew all vain discourse |
| Maududi who avoid whatever is vain and frivolous |
