﴿۞ وَإِذَا وَقَعَ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَخۡرَجۡنَا لَهُمۡ دَآبَّةٗ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ تُكَلِّمُهُمۡ أَنَّ ٱلنَّاسَ كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا لَا يُوقِنُونَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 82]
﴿وإذا وقع القول عليهم أخرجنا لهم دابة من الأرض تكلمهم أن الناس﴾ [النَّمل: 82]
| Dr Kamal Omar And when the Statement (about the final destruction of this world) got issued in their presence, We brought forth to them a Daabbah from within the earth; she will talk to them (to make them realise their state) because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayaat |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And when the saying fell on them, We will bring out a moving creature for them from the earth that will speak to them, that: Humanity had not been certain of Our signs |
| Dr Munir Munshey When the time arrives for Our prophecy to come true, We will cause a beast to emerge from the earth and address them. Indeed, people did not believe Our signs (with certainty) |

| Maududi And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs |
