Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Al-Ahzab ayat 38 - الأحزَاب - Page - Juz 22
Dr Kamal Omar There is no blame on An-Nabi (The Prophet) in that which Allah made compulsory for him. That had been Allah’s Sunnah (prescribed Way) amongst those who passed away in previous times. And the Verdict of Allah became an assessment properly assessed |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar There had been no fault with the Prophet in what is undertaken by him as a duty from God. This is a custom of God with those who passed away before. And the command of God had been a measured measure |
Dr Munir Munshey No restriction stands in the way of the prophet. Nothing restrains him from carrying out the orders of Allah. This happens to be the established practice of Allah in the case of all the messengers who had gone by earlier. And Allah´s command is destiny, irrevocable and predominant |
Edward Henry Palmer There is no hindrance to the prophet about what God has ordained for him;-(such was) the course of God with those who have passed away before,- and God's bidding is a decreed decree |
Farook Malik There can be no blame attached to the Prophet for doing what is sanctioned for him by Allah. Such has been the way of Allah with those who have gone before; and the decrees of Allah are preordained |
George Sale No crime is to be charged on the prophet, as to what God hath allowed him, conformable to the ordinance of God with regard to those who preceded him, -- for the command of God is a determinate decree |
Maududi There could be no hindrance to the Prophet regarding what Allah ordained for him. Such has been Allah´s Way (with the Prophets) who went before. Allah´s command is a decree firmly determined |
