﴿۞ لَّقَدۡ رَضِيَ ٱللَّهُ عَنِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ إِذۡ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحۡتَ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمۡ فَأَنزَلَ ٱلسَّكِينَةَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَأَثَٰبَهُمۡ فَتۡحٗا قَرِيبٗا ﴾
[الفَتح: 18]
﴿لقد رضي الله عن المؤمنين إذ يبايعونك تحت الشجرة فعلم ما في﴾ [الفَتح: 18]
Dr Kamal Omar Surely, indeed Allah gave His assent to the Believers when they swear a pledge to you under the tree. So He knew what is in their hearts, so He made to descend As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquility) over them and He rewarded them an immediate success |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar God was well-pleased with the ones who believe (f) when they take the pledge of allegiance to thee beneath the tree for He knew what was in their hearts and He caused the tranquility to descend on them and He repaid them with a victory near at hand |
