﴿أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي تَوَلَّىٰ ﴾
[النَّجم: 33]
﴿أفرأيت الذي تولى﴾ [النَّجم: 33]
| Dr Kamal Omar Did you then observe that who turned away |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Hadst thou considered him who turned away |
| Dr Munir Munshey Did you see the one who turned away |
| Edward Henry Palmer Hast thou considered him who turns his back |
| Farook Malik Have you seen the one who (Walid bin Mughirah, who was willing to embrace Islam, but upon someone’s promise to take the responsibility of getting the punishment on his behalf in lieu of certain amount of money, he) turned away |
| George Sale What thinkest thou of him who turneth aside from following the truth |
| Maududi (O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah) |
