﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ جَآءُو مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا ٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا وَلِإِخۡوَٰنِنَا ٱلَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِٱلۡإِيمَٰنِ وَلَا تَجۡعَلۡ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلّٗا لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٞ رَّحِيمٌ ﴾
[الحَشر: 10]
﴿والذين جاءوا من بعدهم يقولون ربنا اغفر لنا ولإخواننا الذين سبقونا بالإيمان﴾ [الحَشر: 10]
| Dr Kamal Omar And those who came (as refugees or emigrants) after these (initial emigrants), they will say: “Our Nourisher-Sustainer! Grant us Forgiveness and for our brethren who became foremost in Faith in comparison to us; and allow not in our hearts ill-feeling for those who have Believed. Our Nourisher-Sustainer! Surely You are Full of Kindness, continuously Merciful .” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And those who drew near after them, they say: Our Lord! Forgive us and our brothers/sisters who preceded us in belief and make not in our hearts any grudge against those who believed. Our Lord! Truly, Thou art Gentle, Compassionate |
