﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَدَى ٱللَّهُۖ فَبِهُدَىٰهُمُ ٱقۡتَدِهۡۗ قُل لَّآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًاۖ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرَىٰ لِلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 90]
﴿أولئك الذين هدى الله فبهداهم اقتده قل لا أسألكم عليه أجرا إن﴾ [الأنعَام: 90]
| Dr Kamal Omar They (i.e., all the Prophets mentioned in the above narration) are those whom Allah has guided (to the Permanent Path). So you (o Muhammad) follow (and adopt) their guidance. Say: “I do not ask you a reward over it (as I propagate Al-Kitab as a mission and as a duty). It is not but Zikrah-lil-Alamin |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Those are those whom God guided. So imitate their guidance. Say: I ask of you no compensation for it. It is not but a reminder for the worlds |
| Dr Munir Munshey They (the messengers mentioned above) are the ones whom Allah had guided. (Oh Muhammad, SAW), emulate and follow (as well as convey) the message (to others). Say, "I do not ask you for (a fee or) a reward for this. It is the reminder for the entire mankind |

| Farook Malik O Muhammad, those were the people who were rightly guided by Allah, therefore, follow their guidance and tell these people: "I am not asking you any compensation for this work of delivering the Message to you, this message is nothing but a reminder to all the worlds |
| George Sale These it is whom God guide aright, so follow thou their guidance. Say, 'I ask not of you any reward for it. This is naught but an admonition for all mankind |
| Maududi (O Muhammad!) Those are the ones Allah guided to the right way. Follow, then, their way, and say: ´I ask of you no reward (for carrying on this mission); it is merely an admonition to all mankind.´ |
