﴿يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَٰجِكُمۡ وَأَوۡلَٰدِكُمۡ عَدُوّٗا لَّكُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡۚ وَإِن تَعۡفُواْ وَتَصۡفَحُواْ وَتَغۡفِرُواْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ ﴾
[التغَابُن: 14]
﴿ياأيها الذين آمنوا إن من أزواجكم وأولادكم عدوا لكم فاحذروهم وإن تعفوا﴾ [التغَابُن: 14]
| Dr Kamal Omar O you who have Believed! Surely,out of your consorts and your children are enemy to you, so take protection against them. And if you pardon and overlook and forgive (their faults), then verily, Allah (is ever) Oft-Forgiving, continuously Merciful |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O those who believed! Truly, there are among your spouses and your children enemies for you, so beware of them. And if you would pardon, overlook and forgive, then, truly, God is Forgiving, Compassionate |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh those of you who believe! Your enemies are (likely to be) among your spouses and your children. Beware of them! If you forego, forbear and forgive, (you will find that) Allah is indeed the most Forgiving and the most Merciful |
