﴿وَلَٰكِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ ﴾
[القِيَامة: 32]
﴿ولكن كذب وتولى﴾ [القِيَامة: 32]
| Dr Kamal Omar But (on the contrary) he belied (the Scripture) and bypassed (it) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar and he denied and turned away |
| Dr Munir Munshey Instead, he rejected the truth and turned away |
| Edward Henry Palmer but he said it was a lie, and turned his back |
| Farook Malik but on the contrary he denied the truth and turned away |
| George Sale but he accused God's apostle of imposture, and turned back from obeying him |
| Maududi on the contrary, he gave the lie to the Truth and turned his back upon it |
