﴿وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ ﴾
[عَبَسَ: 7]
﴿وما عليك ألا يزكى﴾ [عَبَسَ: 7]
| Dr Kamal Omar And what (responsibility falls) on you that he is not becoming pure (of sins) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar and not upon thee is any blame if he purifies not himself |
| Dr Munir Munshey It is not your failing if he fails to cleanse (himself of disbelief) |
| Edward Henry Palmer and thou dost not care that he is not purified |
| Farook Malik you will not be held responsible if he would not purify himself |
| George Sale whereas it is not to be charged on thee, that he is not cleansed |
| Maududi though you are not to blame if he would not cleanse himself |
