﴿وَإِذَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٌ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَجَٰهِدُواْ مَعَ رَسُولِهِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡذَنَكَ أُوْلُواْ ٱلطَّوۡلِ مِنۡهُمۡ وَقَالُواْ ذَرۡنَا نَكُن مَّعَ ٱلۡقَٰعِدِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 86]
﴿وإذا أنـزلت سورة أن آمنوا بالله وجاهدوا مع رسوله استأذنك أولو الطول﴾ [التوبَة: 86]
| Dr Kamal Omar And when descended a Surah (proclaiming) that: “Believe in Allah and strive hard alongwith His Messenger,” asked for your permission those who are well to do amongst them and said: “Leave us. We would be alongwith those who stay (behind due to illness or invalidity).” |
