as if they had never dwelt there. Behold, away with Midian just

﴿كَأَن لَّمۡ يَغۡنَوۡاْ فِيهَآۗ أَلَا بُعۡدٗا لِّمَدۡيَنَ كَمَا بَعِدَتۡ ثَمُودُ ﴾
[هُود: 95]

as if they had never dwelt there. Behold, away with Midian just as it was with Thamūd

﴿كأن لم يغنوا فيها ألا بعدا لمدين كما بعدت ثمود﴾ [هُود: 95]
