﴿فَلَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٞ نَّفۡسَكَ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمۡ إِن لَّمۡ يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا ﴾
[الكَهف: 6]
﴿فلعلك باخع نفسك على آثارهم إن لم يؤمنوا بهذا الحديث أسفا﴾ [الكَهف: 6]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then maybe you will kill yourself with grief, sorrowing after them, if they do not believe in this announcement |
| Mohammad Shafi Then maybe you (Prophet) will kill yourself with grief, on their account, if they do not believe in this Pronouncement (Qur'aan) |

| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, (O Prophet) perhaps you are going to kill yourself after them, out of grief, if they do not believe in this discourse |
