﴿فَكُلِي وَٱشۡرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيۡنٗاۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡبَشَرِ أَحَدٗا فَقُولِيٓ إِنِّي نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ صَوۡمٗا فَلَنۡ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِنسِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 26]
﴿فكلي واشربي وقري عينا فإما ترين من البشر أحدا فقولي إني نذرت﴾ [مَريَم: 26]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So eat and drink and refresh the eye. Then if you see any mortal, say: Surely I have vowed a fast to the Beneficent Allah, so I shall not speak to any man today |
| Mohammad Shafi So eat and drink and relax! Then if you should see any man, tell him (by signs), "I have indeed vowed unto the Gracious Allah not to speak to any man today |
