﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱشۡتَرَوُاْ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ بِٱلۡهُدَىٰ وَٱلۡعَذَابَ بِٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِۚ فَمَآ أَصۡبَرَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 175]
﴿أولئك الذين اشتروا الضلالة بالهدى والعذاب بالمغفرة فما أصبرهم على النار﴾ [البَقَرَة: 175]
Mohammad Habib Shakir These are they who buy error for the right direction and chastisement for forgiveness; how bold they are to encounter fire |
Mohammad Shafi Those are the ones who have exchanged right guidance for wrong guidance & error, and exchanged forgiveness for punishment! How persevering then are they, in getting to the Fire |
