﴿فَبَدَّلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ قَوۡلًا غَيۡرَ ٱلَّذِي قِيلَ لَهُمۡ فَأَنزَلۡنَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ رِجۡزٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفۡسُقُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 59]
﴿فبدل الذين ظلموا قولا غير الذي قيل لهم فأنـزلنا على الذين ظلموا﴾ [البَقَرَة: 59]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir But those who were unjust changed it for a saying other than that which had been spoken to them, so We sent upon those who were unjust a pestilence from heaven, because they transgressed |
| Mohammad Shafi But then the wicked people changed the word to one other than what they were asked to utter! We thereupon sent down upon those wicked people a disgraceful calamity from the sky because they had been transgressing.h |
