Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 46 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَلَئِن مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ نَفۡحَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 46]
﴿ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن ياويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 46]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And if a blast of the chastisement of your Lord were to touch them, they will certainly say: O woe to us! surely we were unjust |
Mohammad Shafi And if punishment of your Lord were to touch them even slightly, they would certainly say, "O woe to us! We did indeed commit wrong |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And if a breath of thy Lord's punishment were to touch them, they assuredly would say: Alas for us! Lo! we were wrong-doers |
Mufti Taqi Usmani If a whiff of your Lord’s torment were to touch them, they would certainly say, “Alas to us! We were wrongdoers indeed.” |
