Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 46 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَلَئِن مَّسَّتۡهُمۡ نَفۡحَةٞ مِّنۡ عَذَابِ رَبِّكَ لَيَقُولُنَّ يَٰوَيۡلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 46]
﴿ولئن مستهم نفحة من عذاب ربك ليقولن ياويلنا إنا كنا ظالمين﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 46]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al If even a gust of the punishment of your Lord reaches them, they will then say, “Woe to us, we did wrong indeed.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And if a single blow of your Master’s punishment touches them, they shall say: woe to us, indeed we were wrongdoers |
Ali Quli Qarai Should a whiff of your Lord’s punishment touch them, they will surely say, ‘Woe to us! We have indeed been wrongdoers!’ |
Ali Unal And yet, if but a breath of your Lord’s punishment touches them, they are sure to cry: "Oh, woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers |
Hamid S Aziz But if a breath of the Wrath of your Lord touches them, they will surely say, "O, woe is us! Verily, we were wrong-doers |
John Medows Rodwell Yet if a breath of thy Lord's chastisement touch them, they will assuredly say, "Oh! woe to us! we have indeed been offenders |
Literal And if a blow/breath from your Lord`s torture touched them, they will say (E): "Oh our calamity , we (E) were unjust/oppressive |
Mir Anees Original And (even) if the breath of the punishment of your Fosterer were to touch them, they would definitely say, "Sorrowful is our state, we were certainly unjust |
Mir Aneesuddin And (even) if the breath of the punishment of your Lord were to touch them, they would definitely say, "Sorrowful is our state, we were certainly unjust |
