﴿ثُمَّ نُكِسُواْ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمۡ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتَ مَا هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 65]
﴿ثم نكسوا على رءوسهم لقد علمت ما هؤلاء ينطقون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 65]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then they were made to hang down their heads: Certainly you know that they do not speak |
| Mohammad Shafi And, their heads hanging down, they said to Abraham, "You do know they do not speak |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And they were utterly confounded, and they said: Well thou knowest that these speak not |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Then, hanging their heads they reversed their position (and replied to Ibrāhīm,) “You already knew that they do not speak.” |
