﴿يَدۡعُواْ لَمَن ضَرُّهُۥٓ أَقۡرَبُ مِن نَّفۡعِهِۦۚ لَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡمَوۡلَىٰ وَلَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡعَشِيرُ ﴾
[الحج: 13]
﴿يدعو لمن ضره أقرب من نفعه لبئس المولى ولبئس العشير﴾ [الحج: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir He calls upon him whose harm is nearer than his profit; evil certainly is the guardian and evil certainly is the associate |
| Mohammad Shafi He prays to him whose harm is closer than his benefit. Evil certainly is such guardian and evil certainly is such associate |
