﴿وَلَقَدۡ أَنزَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡكُمۡ ءَايَٰتٖ مُّبَيِّنَٰتٖ وَمَثَلٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَلَوۡاْ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ وَمَوۡعِظَةٗ لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ ﴾
[النور: 34]
﴿ولقد أنـزلنا إليكم آيات مبينات ومثلا من الذين خلوا من قبلكم وموعظة﴾ [النور: 34]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And certainly We have sent to you clear communications and a description of those who have passed away before you, and an admonition to those who guard (against evil) |
| Mohammad Shafi And certainly We have sent down to you Verses/signs making things clear, and example of those who have passed away before you, and admonition to those who are pious |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And verily We have sent down for you revelations that make plain, and the example of those who passed away before you. An admonition unto those who ward off (evil) |
