﴿قُلۡ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ رَدِفَ لَكُم بَعۡضُ ٱلَّذِي تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 72]
﴿قل عسى أن يكون ردف لكم بعض الذي تستعجلون﴾ [النَّمل: 72]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "It may well be that something of what you want hastened has already come close to you |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Say, “It is not unlikely that some part of that (punishment) which you are asking to come soon is already following you closely.” |
| Muhammad Asad say thou: “It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demands has already drawn close unto you.” |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Say, "It may be that coming immediately after you is some (part) of that which you seek to hasten |
