Quran with British translation - Surah Al-‘Ankabut ayat 31 - العَنكبُوت - Page - Juz 20
﴿وَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ رُسُلُنَآ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلۡبُشۡرَىٰ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا مُهۡلِكُوٓاْ أَهۡلِ هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡقَرۡيَةِۖ إِنَّ أَهۡلَهَا كَانُواْ ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 31]
﴿ولما جاءت رسلنا إبراهيم بالبشرى قالوا إنا مهلكو أهل هذه القرية إن﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 31]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when Our apostles came to Ibrahim with the good news, they said: Surely we are going to destroy the people of this town, for its people are unjust |
| Mohammad Shafi And when Our Messengers (angels) came to Abraham with the glad tidings for him (of imminent birth of a son), they said, "We are going to destroy the inhabitants of that locality (to whom Lot was sent). Indeed, the inhabitants thereof have been wicked |
