﴿۞ وَلَا تُجَٰدِلُوٓاْ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا بِٱلَّتِي هِيَ أَحۡسَنُ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَقُولُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡنَا وَأُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكُمۡ وَإِلَٰهُنَا وَإِلَٰهُكُمۡ وَٰحِدٞ وَنَحۡنُ لَهُۥ مُسۡلِمُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 46]
﴿ولا تجادلوا أهل الكتاب إلا بالتي هي أحسن إلا الذين ظلموا منهم﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 46]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our Allah and your Allah is One, and to Him do we submit |

And say, "We believe in that which has been sent down to us and in that which hath been sent down to you. The One we ought to worship and the One you ought to worship are One and the Same Being.
