﴿ٱتۡلُ مَآ أُوحِيَ إِلَيۡكَ مِنَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَۖ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنۡهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۗ وَلَذِكۡرُ ٱللَّهِ أَكۡبَرُۗ وَٱللَّهُ يَعۡلَمُ مَا تَصۡنَعُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 45]
﴿اتل ما أوحي إليك من الكتاب وأقم الصلاة إن الصلاة تنهى عن﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 45]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Recite that which has been revealed to you of the Book and keep up prayer; surely prayer keeps (one) away from indecency and evil, and certainly the remembrance of Allah is the greatest, and Allah knows what you do |
| Mohammad Shafi Recite what is revealed to you of the Book and establish the prayer !" The prayer indeedh prevents man from doing indecent and forbidden things: and surely remembrance of Allah is great. And Allah knows what you do |
