﴿أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 26]
﴿أو لم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من القرون يمشون في﴾ [السَّجدة: 26]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Does it not point out to them the right way, how many of the generations, in whose abodes they go about, did We destroy before them? Most surely there are signs in this; will they not then hear |
Mohammad Shafi How many a generation — in whose erstwhile dwelling places they now move about — have We destroyed before them? Does not this fact give guidance to them? Indeed there are signs in this. Do they not then hear (about those generations) |
