Quran with English translation - Surah As-Sajdah ayat 26 - السَّجدة - Page - Juz 21
﴿أَوَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٍۚ أَفَلَا يَسۡمَعُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 26]
﴿أو لم يهد لهم كم أهلكنا من قبلهم من القرون يمشون في﴾ [السَّجدة: 26]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Does it not teach them a lesson, how many generations We caused to perish before them, in whose dwellings they walk in? Indeed in that are signs. Will they not then listen |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Or did it not guide them (the fact) that how many generations before them We destroyed, which (now) they walk in their houses? For there are certainly signs in that. Do they not listen |
Ali Quli Qarai Does it not dawn upon them how many generations We have destroyed before them, amid [the ruins of] whose dwellings they walk? There are indeed signs in that. Will they not then listen |
Ali Unal Is it not (enough as a means of) guidance for them (the unbelievers) how many a generation We have destroyed before them, amidst whose dwelling places they travel? Surely in this are signs. Will they still not listen (and pay heed to warnings revealed directly and in these signs) |
Hamid S Aziz Does it not point out to them the right way, how many of the generations, in whose abodes they go about, did We destroy before them? Most surely there are signs in this; will they not then hear |
