﴿وَمَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّن كُتُبٖ يَدۡرُسُونَهَاۖ وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهِمۡ قَبۡلَكَ مِن نَّذِيرٖ ﴾
[سَبإ: 44]
﴿وما آتيناهم من كتب يدرسونها وما أرسلنا إليهم قبلك من نذير﴾ [سَبإ: 44]
| Mohammad Shafi And We had not given them any Books to read, nor did We send them, before you, a warner |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We have given them no scriptures which they study, nor sent We unto them, before thee, any warner |
| Muhammad Asad And yet, [O Muhammad,] never have We vouchsafed them any revelations which they could quote, and neither have We sent unto them any warner before thee |
| Mustafa Khattab Allah Edition ˹They say so even though˺ We had never given them any scriptures to study, nor did We ever send them a warner before you ˹O Prophet˺ |
| N J Dawood Yet have We given them no scriptures to study, nor have We sent before you any apostle to warn them |
| Safi Kaskas [Even] though We had not given them any Books to study nor sent any one before you, [Prophet], to warn them |
