﴿وَكَيۡفَ تَأۡخُذُونَهُۥ وَقَدۡ أَفۡضَىٰ بَعۡضُكُمۡ إِلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ وَأَخَذۡنَ مِنكُم مِّيثَٰقًا غَلِيظٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 21]
﴿وكيف تأخذونه وقد أفضى بعضكم إلى بعض وأخذن منكم ميثاقا غليظا﴾ [النِّسَاء: 21]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And how can you take it when one of you has already gone in to the other and they have made with you a firm covenant |
| Mohammad Shafi And how could you take it when you have had enjoyed conjugal relations with one another, and they had taken a firm pledge from you?h |
