﴿أَمۡ ءَاتَيۡنَٰهُمۡ كِتَٰبٗا مِّن قَبۡلِهِۦ فَهُم بِهِۦ مُسۡتَمۡسِكُونَ ﴾
[الزُّخرُف: 21]
﴿أم آتيناهم كتابا من قبله فهم به مستمسكون﴾ [الزُّخرُف: 21]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Or have We given them a book before it so that they hold fast to it |
| Mohammad Shafi Had We given them a Writ before this, to which they are holding fast?h |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Or have We given them any scripture before (this Qur'an) so that they are holding fast thereto |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Or have We given to them a book before this, and they are adhering to it |
| Muhammad Asad Or have We, perchance, vouchsafed them, before this one, a revelation [to the contrary,] to which they are still holding fast |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Or even have We brought them a Book even before it, (The Qur'an) so that they are upholding it fast |
| Muhammad Sarwar Had We, before sending the Quran, given them a book to which they now refer as an authority |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani Or have We given to them a book before this, and they are adhering to it |
