Quran with British translation - Surah Al-Ma’idah ayat 24 - المَائدة - Page - Juz 6
﴿قَالُواْ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدۡخُلَهَآ أَبَدٗا مَّا دَامُواْ فِيهَا فَٱذۡهَبۡ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَٰهُنَا قَٰعِدُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 24]
﴿قالوا ياموسى إنا لن ندخلها أبدا ما داموا فيها فاذهب أنت وربك﴾ [المَائدة: 24]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They said: O Musa! we shall never enter it so long as they are in it; go therefore you and your Lord, then fight you both surely we will here sit down |
| Mohammad Shafi They said, "O Moses! We shall never enter it so long as they are in it. Go then, you and your Lord, and fight you both with them. We shall indeed sit right here |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall They said: O Moses! We will never enter (the land) while they are in it. So go thou and thy Lord and fight! We will sit here |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani They said, “O Mūsā, we shall never enter it, in any case, so long as they are there. So go, you and your Lord, and fight. As for us, we are sitting right here.” |
| Muhammad Asad [But] they said: "O Moses! Behold, never shall we enter that [land] so long as those others are in it. Go forth, then, thou and thy Sustainer, and fight, both of you! We, behold, shall remain here |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali They said, "O Musa (Moses), surely we will never enter it at all so long as they are in it. So go forth, you and your Lord, and then you (two) fight (them). Surely we will be sitting here now |
| Muhammad Sarwar They said, "(Moses), as long as they are in the land, we shall never go there. Go with your Lord to fight them but we shall stay where we are |
| Muhammad Taqi Usmani They said, .O Musa, we shall never enter it, in any case, so long as they are there. So go, you and your Lord, and fight. As for us, we are sitting right here |
